Meet the family behind Achupallas Farms Andes Honey™
We are the Vasconez family from Quito, Ecuador. We began our hobby farm on the mountain in 2016 with just about 50 dairy cows, a horse, a donkey, a sheep, and a few chickens.
Later we bought a 13 bee hives from a local bee keeper and began harvesting our own honey. In 2026 we began selling our honey online, so more honey lovers can experience the taste of the Andes Mountains.
Because of the unique high-altitude flora of the Andean cloud forests, our honey boasts a complex, rich flavor profile and a dense, nutrient-rich composition that deeply contrasts with mass-market, highly processed alternatives.
Our honey is never blended, heated, or ultra-filtered, and retains 100% of its natural enzymes, and antioxidants. Our honey contains no artificial additives, no high-fructose corn syrup, no glyphosates, no antibiotics, and is 100% pure.
